Christmas Time

By creativemediani

The Creative Media Christmas party kicked of this year at the Castle Leslie Estate in Monaghan. It started with a Ready Steady Cook style competition under the watchful eye of Castle Leslie’s master chef Brian. After Shane decided to taste the lemon syrup, which turned out to be washing-up liquid, we got to work. 45 minutes of cooking flew by and at the end of it the girls were awarded best dessert. Nigel and Shane got best salad and best main meal, while Stephen and Paul got credit for taking part.

The drinking then began and the Creative Media crew headed into Monaghan town. With the 80s music pumping they walked like Egyptians and were as Footloose as Mr Bacon himself. To nobody’s surprise The Ferris-Wheel managed to disappear during the night and when he did reappear convincing him to get onto the bus was as easy as convincing Steve Jobs to buy a Zune. However, he didn’t let this fact hinder his interpretation of the night and the next morning he proudly gave himself credit for managing to get everyone a taxi home!

All in all a great time was had and suggestions for the 2008 Christmas party are already getting thrown around – the prospect of rally driving being the most intriguing!
